We had a very busy weekend with my cousins in town from Boston, Jamie and Colleen. They were down for a friends bachelorette party over at City Walk. Kelly came into town as well and we all went out both Friday night and Bernie came with on Saturday night and I missed my Brady so very much. It was the most amount of time I have spent away from him not only in one day, but in one weekend! He was in great hands with his Nana and she got to cuddle with him through the night...even though he is very fidgety, I don't think that she minded :) She even gave him his 6am bottle! It was a blast to be with them, as always, and more then enough memories were made! Unfortunately, I have no pictures of those nights but they should be on their way.

Brady is reaching out to Dakota and she doesn't mind one bit, love it!

Hanging out with Nana on the first WARM and SUNNY day in about 2 months!

This is Brady's second cousin, Jade. She will be 2 in April.

Getting the last of the applesauce!

New toy!

New shades

We took Brady to his first baseball game in Lakeland, Tigers v. Yankees. We had to leave in the 3rd inning because Brady wanted no part in the sun and heat. I also think he got some sunscreen in his eye :( Bad momma!

Love this one with Daddy!

When will it be over?!

Rolling around on the ground!

My happy boy, loves his food!

It has been a nice week off from classes and Bernie is on leave too! It rained all day yesterday and seems to the same for today. Brady has a little cold and I have homework. Happy Friday!!

DADADADA

That is what Brady says!..Alllll the time! I am jealous to say the least. This little boy is head over heads for his father and it makes me so happy.
If Bernie is not in sight and says something, Brady will search for him.
When Bernie simply just looks at Brady, he smiles!
Bernie will be staring at the tv and Brady will be staring at Bernie, which ends up with smiles! (Brady stares at the tv too)

Brady is a daddy's boy inside and out.

Oh! 6 month stats..
Height - 28 1/4 inches! (up 2 inches from 4 months!!)  95th percentile
Weight - 21lb 4oz  95th percentile

We are still here!

Opps! I have been quite the horrible blogger and I am very sorry. School and Brady keep me very busy and the weekends have been pretty eventful as well! I have no idea where I even left off last...

Brady will be 6 months next Friday....what! Who allowed this and where has time gone?! My little boy is growing so fast! We are sitting up all by ourselves with the occasional fall back annnnnd we are rolling over from back to tummy!!! He did it all by himself on the morning of the Superbowl and go figure, Bernie and I were not looking because we were talking about who knows what! But he is doing it constantly these days and he has yet to learn to roll stomach to back so we are always flipping him when he becomes fussy and frustrated.

I weighed him at 5 months and he is about 20lbs! We also measured him and it was 26+ inches but that is wrong because that is how long he was at 4 months, we will have new 6 months numbers March 1st.

Here is a video of the new noise that Brady makes..

Nana and Brady are playing...but you are warned, this one is not for weak stomachs..but funny!

 Cleaned up and back playing!

We got a big boy high chair! Playing with some food..

My friend Julie has a son that is about 2+ months younger than Brady and we get together every couple of weeks. Cade is getting old enough and they can interact! So much fun to watch them!

Here is Brady giggling away at lunch because we were hitting our hands on the table!

I have some more videos I will work on uploading, they take forever though!
Oh and how could I forget, we also upgraded to a big boy car seat!! Brady loves that he has so much room now and is really enjoying his 'freedom'!

Till next time...hopefully only a few days :)

You're a new mom when..

You used to sing random pop songs in the shower, now you sing whatever song is stuck in your head from your child's most annoying toy

It's 6:00 PM. You haven't showered and still have on your pjs from last night. Your child however has on their second outfit of the day, if not their 4th

When was the last time the dog was out? 6 hours ago? Yesterday? You can't remember.

"That was a good burp/poop/fart" are phrases in your vocabulary

You used to have a shoe fetish, now you have a baby toy fetish

You used to be grossed out by stretch marks, now you barely notice that you have them even though they cover your entire abdomen

Making it to the store without a complete meltdown is an accomplishment

Nothing is "yours" anymore. Your phone is a chew toy, your bed is hogged by a tiny little person, your hair is there for pulling and your food is made for knocking on the floor.

You can't figure out where your money is going, and then you realize you blew an entire weeks pay at babygap

You want to make sure your child is eating enough, yet you consider a granola bar and two reeses cups "lunch"

If you haven't had your caffiene, no one should speak to you. In fact, they better not even look at you or there could be hell to pay

You get excited about a good deal on diapers/wipes/babyfood...etc

You can't find anything in your email inbox that DOESN'T involve your baby

Your life has changed drastically, but you wouldn't have it any other way.
