Make a wish!
Today is a special day, it is my Grandpa's birthday!! Happy Birthday Grandpa!
I just want to say that you are very special to me and have a special place in my heart. You are such an incredible person and you are such an inspiration. I love your stories and your strong hugs. Thank you for always following a hug by telling me how beautiful I am, as you look me straight in the eyes. I hope that you have an awesome day and make sure my mother offers that ice cream special that you got on Father's Day! ;)
We wish we could be there to celebrate such a wonderful day, next year for sure! Love you so much!

We have a booboo!
It looks like those videos aren't going to upload through the blog like I had been doing. I am uploading them right now on youtube and will put it up here as soon as it is finished. (the first one is going to take an hour :-/ )
I know there has been a lot of training going on with the soldiers over here because I can hear it from inside my house! It is actually pretty cool to here right now but I am sure it will become absolutely annoying or I will be able to ignore it in no time. Those poor guys that have been on deployments already probably aren't to thrilled to be hearing it. I also love to hear when they play the taps and all the other 'songs' throughout the day..especially the ones at 10:45 and 11pm which I have heard are for the fallen soldiers. I do have those recorded too and they will starting downloading after the current video, ah!
So, Brady had his first real booboo today :( I got him a kiddie pool like he has at Nana's and some very cool toys! He was having a ball and he went to stand up on the side and his hands slipped. His big ole noggin caught his fall. He definitely screamed bloody murder for the first 10 seconds but after that, it didn't seem all that bad. What is bad is that big knot he has now! I don't think I will be going out anywhere for a few days until it goes down, poor kid.
Bernie gets his 10 days TDY starting on Monday so we are going home, obviously. He would have taken it right after we got here but he offered to take the 2 week classes with the rest of his unit first. It is probably better that he did that because it is perfect timing to head home. He also found out that they get a 3 day weekend every month which is awesome because of his MOS. For August, his 3 day will be the weekend before Brady's birthday. We were hoping to do something the following weekend at home for Brady's birthday but it doesn't look like that will be happening (Mom, are you reading this?) No big plans for his big day either, something simple with family (hopefully) and a huge smash cake for him! But, Bernie does think that he will have a 4 day for Labor Day so maybe we will do something then? Who knows!
Here is what you came here for! Pictures!

11 months
Wow, I cannot believe in just 31 days, my baby boy will be turning ONE! I am so excited for him to be turning one but I am sad too. He will be a TODDLER! but of course, he will always be my baby!
I do not have any stats on him until he sees his pediatrician for his one year. He is probably about 23lbs though and I have no idea how long he is but he can bite the back of my legs!
Brady is officially a biter and he does it all the time, watch out! He is pulling up constantly and reaching further away for things that require steps without holding on. He can push his train and his other push toys while walking but he doesn't prefer it. He will do it if you stand him up to it but he would rather push it himself. He loves anything with wheels and makes noise--that is all he plays with, I might as well box everything else up! Brady loves pulling down all his books from his bookshelf EVERYDAY and then finding something else better to do, haha. He is still saying dog to everything and he is pointing all the time. Roxy and Brady are two peas in a pod. He is climbing all over her and she just loves it. Brady is even throwing the ball for Roxy which by the way, he thinks is absolutely hilarious! Other than that, he is eating like a champ, broccoli, green beans, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, all meats, pasta, hot dogs..yum! I have started transitioning him to whole milk, just 2 ounces so far...he doesn't seem to notice but his diaper does! Or maybe it is all the real food he is eating 3x a day...
Sorry, I have no pictures today. I haven't uploaded them but I will in the morning and I have a video too. The one that I had hoped to get working just won't budge :(
HAPPY ELEVENTH MONTHDAY, BRADY!

Babble..
Well, I have been trying to post a video from the other day while Brady was eating lunch but it wont load for some reason. He says 'Hi' to his nana! :) I am still working with it, so keep looking for it. I am also putting together a post for all of the 'music' that is played each day on post. They play the same ones at the same times but I am having trouble recording the 6am one.. :) Bernie does not know what it is called....just the names of the songs.
Not to much is happening around here, we are finishing up the guest room and the backyard and will hopefully have the fence up in the next 2-3 weeks.
Dakota is getting older each day and has been have troubles lately. Her hips really seem to be bothering her and she cries sometimes when she wakes up or gets up. She did it the other day and woke Brady up...we were all crying. Dakota seemed to be yelling at me due to the pain. We are working on her situation and it has been much better today than any other day.. hopefully it continues.
Other than that, not too much is happening..
I will work on that video though!

Old videos.
So I was debating on whether I should really post this but I think it is funny :) I like it because this was the following morning that Brady had learned to stand up in his crib. It also shows all his babbling...serious babbling at that!
These videos are from May 20th..

We made it...
to Fort Bragg! Cable and Internet is finally up an running, obviously! Life at Bragg is pretty good so far, we definitely have no complaints about the house--just wish it was a 4 bedroom! Haha, wouldn't that be nice! Maybe the only flaw is the bathroom size but I would rather have the third bedroom and the size of Brady and our bedrooms! The neighborhood is very quiet and we actually got very lucky with the location because there is a 'Bark Park' at the end of our street, Dunkin Donuts is one street over, we are close to the PX/Commissary and gas station and one of the gates to get on/off post.
We don't have our fence up yet but we are allowed to go back 50 feet. We have a little bit of clearing to do which is mostly done. It just needs to be raked before we have the guys come out and survey it for approval. I cannot wait for the fence to be up because Brady does not like being left inside. We have had 2 accidents with that :( We have a screen down and if you don't push it closed, it wont latch and when that little boy stands up to see what is happening the door opens and well you know, it closes and his fingers get in the way. No worries though, just 30 seconds of tears and no scratches or blood, thankfully!
I am loading the pictures and videos from the camcorder and my camera is next. Sorry for the delay on the pictures but I JUST found the cord to load them onto the computer as I was typing this!
Check back later today for some goodies! :)
