5 months!!
I am a day late but Happy 5th Monthday to my Brady!!! I will have to put up his new stats tomorrow, he is snoozing now! and I never measured him (bad momma!)
Up! Down!
Not too much has been happening these past few days besides Brady giggling and smiling at all times!
We were over at Nana's and Grandpa's the other night and Bernie and I made sure Brady still got his good eats! While feeding him, we noticed he kept his feet up in the air the entire time..now only if I did that, I would have a 6pack by now!
Do you remember when you were a child and you had to wait 20 minutes after you ate in order to go back into the pool? Well, I remember but I never followed that rule after this feeding with Brady. Luckily, we didn't have any messes but we did do something new that makes him laugh! These pictures don't show him laughing hysterically but he does..Up and Down on my knees while making some sort of noise...different each way.. and falling down is so much more fun!

Sweet Dreams!
Is exactly what Brady is doing! He has been such a big boy when it is time to go to bed and even nap in his crib! Going to bed at night was never an issue, but naps we struggle and he did very well today!
Bragg was good, excited to see the base but it was hard to picture everything because it was on a holiday which means that everybody was gone or stayed at home. We will be heading back up in March to check out some housing we didn't get to see...might as well get used to the drive! It actually is not that bad, just about 7 1/2 hours and we only stopped once pending Brady's diaper. He did sleep most of the way here and there and he was an angel to say the least! Other than that, everybody is well and we are moving along..
Lots of pictures....get some popcorn! :)
Are we getting big or what?! Check out those eyelashes!!! I couldn't caption every picture unless I loaded them one at a time and well, you can make your own captions! We love bath time and good eats! Oh yeah, and big boy toys too!!

Busy, busy B's!
That is exactly what we are! Classes have started back up this week for the both of us. I am taking 4! I have no idea what I am thinking, but I do know that I am completely crazy! I have 2 different classes on Mon and Wed nights and 2 classes on Friday. Monday nights class went very well and seems to be fairly simple even though there is an assignment due every week, hopefully tonight's will be similar. I do know that my 2nd class on Friday will be challenging based on the constant emails from the professor to print this and print that for Fridays class. Oh well, I am set for my internship in the Fall, so we will just have to see what happens with Bernie and the Army. Enough of that, back to what you came here for!
Brady is sitting very well! Last night, he was able to catch himself when he was falling backwards or to the sides but today, I think he forgot what he practiced! Sitting on his own is right around the corner though and I am sure he will be crawling come 6 months, oh boy! He is learning new sounds with his mouth and is always working on those too, especially after his first AM bottle when his mother is ready to go back to sleep! He is able to recognize when he is about to get solids and gets very excited, the cooking is going well...if you even call that cooking and he definitely knows when the bottle is coming!
It is much easier to carry him around now, I am sure he will be on my hip before I know it because he can hold himself steady very well. He coos and laughs at anything in the house. We have discovered that Brady has a fascination with Dakota. He stares at her all the time and laughs and smiles, it is hilarious to watch! There is also a huge snail on his bouncer seat and anytime he sees it he laughs as well, definitely an easy going guy!
What else? Oh, we are headed up to Fort Bragg on Friday to check out housing and the base. I am pretty set on living on post simply because of safety and convenience. Bernie just doesn't want to live in a 2br again (housing is based on rank and dependents which is why we only qualify for a 2br) and wants a yard but the houses for rent only say small dog or upon approval. It is easier to break from a lease on post too if he deploys before the lease is up. We are staying with his old station commander who is doing special forces recruiting now, so I know we will get the grand tour! He has arrangements for us to see some of the places and he lives on post too. There are 2 different neighborhoods on post that have floor plans for a 2br but also an entire basement and each has a 'computer nook' or a 'play room' which is pretty much the size of a regular room. What stinks is the wait list, the one I would love is 18 months but the other just dropped to 3 months and that is the earliest we can jump on the wait list so hopefully it will work out! I will be sure to post pictures after the weekend though.
