Aloha Zoo

We went to a little zoo over the weekend. All the animals are rescued in some form which is really cool. This zoo didn't have any giraffes, elephants, hippos or any animals along those lines but they did have a Zorse! I did not get a picture of him but he is mostly a horse with zebra stripes, very cool! You could probably Google it :)

Good Girl! This wolf was actually raised the farm and they said that she was mostly domesticated. We saw her out side of her cage too and she was very relaxed. Dakota's cousin?!

We went on a little safari ride where we saw some bulls, camels, the Zorse, zebras and pigs!

Mission accomplished :)

Pooped!

We also saw, a white tiger, brown bear, tiger, monkeys, the monkey from Madagascar, alligators and lots little animals that were from Africa..the employees were wearing them on their shoulders.


This zoo beats the NC State zoo by a million!

2 years old!

Brady turned 2!! We had a small Mickey Mouse themed party for him with plenty of pool time. It was simple and sweet and turned out great. He got to open presents all day long..we spaced them out so he could play with them and ate tons of cake. He is such a busy man these days and loves his cars and animals, especially the cow.

We had a great time on vacation. It was nice to get back home and going to the islands was an added bonus. Here are some pictures from just the islands..

Our first day was perfect and then Irene decided to join us for the next 3 days. It was neat to experience the strong winds but after the first day, we were ready to see her go. The rain and wind hung around too long. Once the sun came back out, it was great! We had a boat trip which Brady wasn't too fond of in the beginning. Of course, the mornings we have to be somewhere he wants to sleep in. I think he had a mixture of being tired and scared on the boat. He cried and screamed for too long but finally passed out on me. The picture above is him 'feeling safe' and the way he sat the entire time the boat was moving. Brendan did great too and it was a perfect soother for him.
Brady ran around everywhere and checked out the iguanas..he had an absolute blast. He really liked throwing the shells back into the water down in the cove and could have sat there for hours.
And if your wondering about the plane rides..they both did fantastic! They were timed perfectly for nap time and Brady wasn't scared at all.
