15 weeks!

and one day..

Your baby now weighs in at a whopping three to five ounces, and he's four to five inches in length. The bones that are now in place in his ears means he can probably hear your voice as you talk to your partner and pals and sing in the car. While he’s getting used to your voice, the tiny muscles in his body, especially the ones in his back, are gaining strength, so he can straighten out a little more. And thanks to his developing facial muscles, your baby is capable of making a few expressive frowns and squints, even at this early stage. (Don’t worry, those frowns have nothing to do with the sound of your voice!) And his eyes are finally working, making small side-to-side movements and perceiving light (although the eyelids are still sealed). Peekaboo!

Cars

..the movie, is the new Madagascar! He is obsessed to say the least. I cannot blame him, he is all boy and what boy doesn't love cars. He is currently watching Toy Story 2, hopefully we will be able to expand his interests. I hate to be that Mom and put him in front of the t.v. but he loves it. It isn't hurting him and he is one happy kid. He even looks to me when I start the movie and smiles :)

What a bum :)

The only update I have on baby #2 is the heartbeat, at 154bpm. That is what Brady's was around the same time...could it be another boy?! We will find out probably in early December!

Mandatory fun

Last Friday, Bernie's company got a 'mandatory family fun day'. They actually do a pretty decent job except they require the guys to stay almost the whole day. They had a bunch set up of the kids--humvees, an MP car, bouncy thing, obstacle course (more for the adults) and food of course. Brady enjoyed running around like a crazy man more than anything and was not happy about getting inside the humvees. He didn't even really bother with the MP car but he was sure to tell us that it was a 'car'. Brady even got to meet McGruff the crime dog and was not scared of him...he actually beat him up.
I did get some good pics of the boys together and I am pretty happy about that.

Brady seems to be telling Bernie something pretty serious here..

Over here, Dad!
McGruff came out to say hi.
and Brady started hitting him on his nose!

This picture was taken late. Brady is starting to take off but he was facing Bernie and it looked like he was giving him a pep talk rather then yelling at him, haha.
Like father like son. They are perfect!

Happy Halloween!

We had a good time on Halloween. Fort Bragg and the surrounding areas designated Saturday night from 6-8 for trick or treating. We headed up to the Youth Center on post and we really just checked it out. It was more for older kids. They had lots of activities to give away and games to be played. I think it would be a great idea for parents since it gets the kids off the streets and all the games, pretty sneaky! Brady is way to young for trick or treating. Lots of parents took out their toddlers but we all know who really eats that candy ;) Brady just runs around and we are busy chasing him.
He is not very happy that we had to get into the car.

and just for fun..
