That is exactly what we are! Classes have started back up this week for the both of us. I am taking 4! I have no idea what I am thinking, but I do know that I am completely crazy! I have 2 different classes on Mon and Wed nights and 2 classes on Friday. Monday nights class went very well and seems to be fairly simple even though there is an assignment due every week, hopefully tonight's will be similar. I do know that my 2nd class on Friday will be challenging based on the constant emails from the professor to print this and print that for Fridays class. Oh well, I am set for my internship in the Fall, so we will just have to see what happens with Bernie and the Army. Enough of that, back to what you came here for!
Brady is sitting very well! Last night, he was able to catch himself when he was falling backwards or to the sides but today, I think he forgot what he practiced! Sitting on his own is right around the corner though and I am sure he will be crawling come 6 months, oh boy! He is learning new sounds with his mouth and is always working on those too, especially after his first AM bottle when his mother is ready to go back to sleep! He is able to recognize when he is about to get solids and gets very excited, the cooking is going well...if you even call that cooking and he definitely knows when the bottle is coming!
It is much easier to carry him around now, I am sure he will be on my hip before I know it because he can hold himself steady very well. He coos and laughs at anything in the house. We have discovered that Brady has a fascination with Dakota. He stares at her all the time and laughs and smiles, it is hilarious to watch! There is also a huge snail on his bouncer seat and anytime he sees it he laughs as well, definitely an easy going guy!
What else? Oh, we are headed up to Fort Bragg on Friday to check out housing and the base. I am pretty set on living on post simply because of safety and convenience. Bernie just doesn't want to live in a 2br again (housing is based on rank and dependents which is why we only qualify for a 2br) and wants a yard but the houses for rent only say small dog or upon approval. It is easier to break from a lease on post too if he deploys before the lease is up. We are staying with his old station commander who is doing special forces recruiting now, so I know we will get the grand tour! He has arrangements for us to see some of the places and he lives on post too. There are 2 different neighborhoods on post that have floor plans for a 2br but also an entire basement and each has a 'computer nook' or a 'play room' which is pretty much the size of a regular room. What stinks is the wait list, the one I would love is 18 months but the other just dropped to 3 months and that is the earliest we can jump on the wait list so hopefully it will work out! I will be sure to post pictures after the weekend though.
Here is my new favorite picture of my man!!
